So needed to hear this today! This day (and New Year’s Eve as well) is so overrated and so full of expectations…for a few years now I have been trying not to get into this mindset that is created by society but last night I just couldn’t help myself and I got so sad and disappointed with everything in my life. Totally irrationally though, just because it was New Year’s Eve. I’m in my early 30s now and like Luca said in the podcast I sometimes just feel very jaded and with regards to this lifestyle also quite alone. But then I listen to you guys and it gives me hope that there are more people like us out there who just give a damn about animals, health and our environment. Thank you so so much!
You’re definitely not alone Romi! Thank you for listening and for your support. Wishing you a happy new year xo

Shia LaBeouf ?
That’s the one! haha ?
P.S My question for ask TVC is: What would be your ideal life when you reach “retirement age” (where would you be, what would you like your daily life to be like or consist of, what would you like to achieve…?)
Great podcast guys ?
Great question! …we’ll add this to our list ? thanks!
I am 63 and went sort of vegan at 59. Wholefood plant based more and more up till now. In januari i go on a water fast in Santa Rosa, True North Health centre to reset my taste buds and healing my body. I wish i knew what i know now much sooner. No internet back then. Happy new year you two and keep up the good work. Have you ever heard of Sadhguru? He has a youtube channel with lots of video’s. Luca will like it, new quotes for the video’s ?.
Thank you Paula, happy new year ?
This is the first podcast of yours I’ve listened to and, this is the first podcast I’ve ever enjoyed. Thank you guys!!! I watch your YouTube channel all the time.
That’s great to hear! Thanks Kayla
Hey TVC. I love your podcasts and have literally listened to all of them (some even twice!). I have a question maybe you can address for another podcast in the future: What have been some things you have done or strategies you have used to overcome hardships/obstacles in your life? Everyone encounters some sort of hardship in life so it’s really helpful/insightful to hear about other’s experiences! ? Thanks so much!
Thanks so much Vanessa, we’ll add this to our list ? Glad you’re enjoying the show!
So true about all the expectations at Christmas, I use to get so stressed about gifts and all the cooking, One particular year that stands out was cooking my first vegan lunch for 18 people. On Christmas Eve I was making a nut roast, I was mixing all the ingredients together when James looked at the pkt of breadcrumbs and informed me they weren’t vegan. I almost burst into tears and just wanted to walk out the house and go have a melt down somewhere on my own. Happy to say that I no longer put myself under all that pressure anymore. Now I listen to my best friend being stressed every Christmas, and I think that use to be me, and thank god it isn’t anymore. It’s just another example of how conditioned we are to thinking Christmas Day needs to be this big fancy affair.
Thanks for sharing your stories and all the best for 2018 ✌️
Ugh, that sounds awful! ? haha, trust James to pick that up! Glad you’re in a more relaxed space now Brenda… it’s definitely not worth the melt down! Thanks so much for your wonderful support this year, much appreciated. Wish you all the best for 2018 ?
Another very interesting podcast, thanks! I loved all the topics you addressed. Just now there is a lot of noise in my kitchen (I’m watching the ‘just do it’ clip ? omg!!!)
