Welcome to another episode in our Ask TVC series.
We ask our audience to send us their questions, and each week we’ll select one juicy question that we can answer and discuss in detail.
This episode really dug deep into our past as we retell the emotional story of dealing with our inner demons, almost breaking up, and how we managed to save our relationship and get to where we are today.
After 19 years together, we might have a few tips that could help others out.

Really beautiful, you guys are a true inspiration.
Thank you so much Teodora, glad we can inspire 🙂 Thanks for listening and commenting!
It’s just lovely how open and honest you both are with your followers. You’ve given some great suggestions that could help others overcome struggles in their life. Respect for doing the bungy jump, no way could I do that, you are very brave ?
Thanks so much Brenda! 🙂
Enjoyed this podcast, thanks for that.
I just love u both ?? is not easy to find Vegan Friend, not even partner. You both really inspire me to look for a vegan partner. Love you both, And keep it up! ❤️❤️??
I’ve given my partner all the chances and ultimatums in the world, but he doesn’t change. My problem is exactly what you said: What my relationship is to myself, and what I want and need. I’ve realised that even though I’ve been with this man for 4 years, I kept putting him first, even though his actions were hurtful and we’re delaying all my oppertunities. Even though I love him, and he says the same, his consistant hurtful actions has caused a miserable cloud over the relationship that its now time i move on from. Thanks for waking me up and clarifying the need to put myself first now.
Such a beautiful podcast! This is so helpful. I’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 3 years and had the problem of insecurity in the beginning because of past relationships involving my partners having cheated on me and hurting me. Not only did this happen once but 3 times with 3 individual people so it left me scarred. I thought it was me that was the problem and I would take it on my current boyfriend all the time. Eventually he gave me a reason to trust him and I realized he wasn’t the people in my past but his own individual person. I learned to trust him and think that it was not my fault the past boyfriends hurt me, that it was their own problems. Our relationship has been amazing since we got over that problem. Sure we have disagreements once in a while, but all relationships go through that. As long as the couple is willing to understand one another, respect one another, and work through the problems, you can get through anything. Thank you for sharing your story!! This helps me so much.
– Es XOXO
Thankyou for sharing your story – it’s struck a few chords with me …. plus Natasha’s analogies are spot on ?
I love listening to you two, you seem so down to earth
If I could rate this, I’d give it 5 stars. This is a very insightful and well-formated podcast. The quality is the best it could be. The video of you two bungee jumping really put into perspective what you talked about.
Thank you for this, it’s a great podcast, inspiring! Jeanne
#relationshiogoals You guys are awesome. Great tips for when I find my hubby?
Glad you found our tips helpful, and thanks for listening and commenting Anyssa 🙂
These long podcasts talking about your life really helps with my anxiety about life and my anxiety in general! I love it keep it up, your work is really appreciated. Love from the Netherlands ?
I absolutely LOVED this episode! I am only 19 and have never been in a relationship, but I have learned a whole lot from listening to this, and I guess you can say I really look up to you both as my internet ‘parents’ (in fact I’ve been following you since I was 17)! I just love how down to earth, real and entertaining you guys are, not only in your podcasts but in general too! I will always support you Natasha and Luca, and thankyou for sharing this very intimate yet helpful episode with us. Thankyou for everything you do for the people, animals and the environment. I sincerely hope you get much more recognition for your work. Can’t wait for the next episode!
Ohh wow, what a beautiful comment!! Haha, yes we have so many internet children! Very happy to hear this episode has helped you – that was our intention for sharing our story. Can’t thank you enough for your kind words and wonderful support – it really means a lot! xoxo
Guys, I loved this. I waited so long to hear what was “the big stuff” in your relationship and I finally found out. I wanted to know because I was curious if your big stuff was what is currently going on in my relationship, and the resemblance is uncanny. You give me so much inspiration each and every day but these podcasts are just too much. You are the catalyst that enables me to get deep into my fears and desires and I keep getting to know myself more and more. I’m 22 and I’ve been with my boyfriend since we were both 17 and the last few months were too intense for us. Thank you so much for making these podcasts, especially this one, because you show me that if there is love you can deal with anything, even if there are days when the hearbreak and the confrontation is just too much and you don’t think you’re going to get through this and still be together. I hope I can meet you one day and thank you in person for this and so so much more. Laura from Poland xx
I love this ❤️
Thank you!
You guys are the best inspiration on the internet! Especially all the snapchat updates:) my boyfriend is now vegan thanks to you!! Love from Norway

This was a beautiful story <3 Truly inspirational
Thank you so much Isabelle 🙂
Awesome and amazing! I’m a new subscriber and follower on YouTube and social media, and love listening to you both! My husband and I went through a lot as well and came from traumatic backgrounds and found each other when we were young. After 15 years (I’m 30 so half my life!), we have both healed, grown and changed for the better as individuals and a couple. We listened to this podcast while relaxing and cleaning and we found ourselves laughing and nodding in agreement so many times during your story. Thank you for sharing 🙂 I give similar advice to people when they ask me what the secret is to a long and loving relationship. I always say that it’s about whether or not you grow as a person during your relationship and if your partner encourages and supports your growth (and vice versa). You should both become better people and bring out the best in one another. If not, it’s sign that something’s not right or it might be time to move on. Questions for a future podcast: – What are the spiritual truths you are most resonate with? Can you give examples of how you have implemented or experienced these truths? – What are the hardest things about being vegan for you both? How have you overcome any challenges of being vegan?
Welcome! Very happy to hear you and your husband could relate to this podcast and have also grown and healed together. “We listened to this podcast while relaxing and cleaning and we found ourselves laughing and nodding in agreement so many times during your story” … we LOVED reading this, we can just picture you two doing that 😉 Great advice that you give people too – spot on! Thanks so much for those questions, we’ll add them to our list. Thank you so much for listening and writing to us xo
Hey guys! I am so happy for you, that you’ve found your soulmate in each other. (Although I have to admit that it makes me a bit jealous. :D) But it is so sweet to hear the way you speak about the other. Especially when Luca does it. I’m not used to hearing a man talking so lovingly about his wife. All that you’ve said reminded me of a song by Ron Pope. (Well, yeah, it’s not Eminem … ;D) AND I KNOW YOU TOO WELL TO SAY YOU’RE PERFECT, BUT YOU’LL SEE, OH MY SWEET LOVE, YOU’RE PERFECT FOR ME I wish you that you will always find love for each other in your hearts and that the path that you choose for your lives will never separate.
Aww, this is beautiful, thank you! Love those lyrics … even if it’s not Eminem, haha 😉 Thank you so much for your sweet words and we wish you an abundance of love in your life too xo
That’s great to hear, thank you. You can also subscribe to our website for free gifts if you’re interested 🙂
Great to hear, thanks for listening and commenting 🙂
Wow…I have been afraid to listen to this podcast and decided today was the day. My 3-year relationship is in crisis mode, and I remembered today that I wanted to listen to this. It was emotional to listen to, and I’ve come away with some great ideas and insight. Thank you for sharing such an intimate side of TVC and thank you for all you do!
You’re welcome, and we’re so glad that our story helped you in some way. Good on you for having the courage to listen to what was no doubt in some ways “easier” to avoid. Thanks for commenting 🙂
This podcast brought tears to my eyes. I often have so many questions about relationships – what is right and wrong; what is ‘normal’; how can I know when something is wrong; what happens when something is wrong? And so on. But you guys have provided some great insight and inspiration. I am filled with hope and courage for some of the pressures/worries about my own relationship right now. We have been together nearly 2 years and I know that it’s better we work out any issues as we go along rather than let it all build up inside. Thank you for saying the things I needed to know and hear, and giving me the support from all those miles away! Forever grateful.
You’re most welcome Claire. We’re very happy to hear that we’ve been helpful to you, and thank you for listening and commenting 🙂
Boy! That was emotional! Loved how open you both were and really appreciate it. Much love to you both.
Thank you ?
