Welcome to our very first Podcast!
We’re definitely in uncharted waters, and it’s a mixed feeling of excitement and nerves. Seeing as though this is all so new to us, and we’re going through so many changes in our work lives at the moment, we wanted to open the first episode by talking about change.
Change is inevitable, but it’s also incredibly scary! Why do we avoid change, why is it so daunting, why would we want to change if we’re currently “comfortable”? … all questions we discuss as we reflect on the somewhat drastic changes we’ve made over the last 9 years.

Awesome! More please :-)!
Loved it! I am not a huge podcast person but I really enjoyed listening to this and plan on listening to all of your podcasts! Thanks for being so inspiring! This podcast really hit home as I recently decided to leave my 9-5 corporate office job in favor of being self employed so that I can manage my time and work how I see fit and I was also growing increasingly unhappy sitting in an office all day. It is a bit scary as I tend to prefer security but I am excited and am happy I decided to take the risk. You can’t experience growth without change!
Hi Kelly, thank you very much for your comment! Well done on listening to your emotional guidance system and taking action to make a change, despite the fear of less security. Focus on those feelings of excitedness and happiness. Really glad to hear you enjoyed this podcast episode and that you intend to listen to more, despite not being much of a podcast person 🙂
Loved it guys, good job! I listened to it while eating, so almost like your “regular” mukbangs 🙂 Interesting that you mentioned Eckart Tolle, heard of him a few times but never made it through one of his books, I thinks I’ll have to read it now because the concept of the power of now sound really reasonable!
This could not have come at a better time for me. My husband are going through some huge changes at the moment. We are in the last month before we leave our well-paying jobs and become RV nomads travelling around North America. There’s a lot left to do, and the stress involved in a big change like this is causing me to break out in a rash, and have trouble sleeping. I’m so ready to do this, but you’re right, the unknown is very scary! Thank you for putting things in perspective for me, and reminding me that change is a good thing! Looking forward to listening to more of these. I have a second-hand copy of The Power of Now, but hadn’t gotten around to reading it yet (I think there may be some irony there…), but I will definitely be starting that tonight.
Your plan sounds fantastic! You’ll love the RV nomad life. We can recall the stress of tying up loose ends in the month before taking our year-long sabbatical, but we can assure you it was worth it. Regarding the Power of Now, yes there could be some irony there! ? We’ve actually come across many people who have the book but have never read it. It’s well worth the read though. Perhaps you could read it in a month’s time when the RV is parked somewhere idyllic ? Thanks for listening and commenting Kelsey ?
Guys you think you were falling behind with technology, I had to google what a podcast was ?? I feel like a dinosaur ?
We literally laughed out loud reading this!! ? Looks like all us technology dinosaurs are in the same boat! Thanks for listening and commenting Brenda ☺
Thank you for your pod cast. It could not of come at a better time. My husband and I are looking at moving into retirement and setting ourselves up for the next stage of our lives. As you both said it can be quite scary not knowing. So while sitting and listening to your words of wisdom I started to write out an action plan. Hopefully this will help take out some of the fear/ scary and help us take the first steps forward. Thanks heaps and am looking forward to more words of wisdom and laughter in your next pod cast.
You’re most welcome for the podcast Liz and we’re thrilled to hear that you found it helpful! Yes, writing and action plan will help to allay the fear somewhat. We wish you all the best for the exciting next stage of your lives. Thanks for listening and commenting ☺
I love listening to the two of you, so lovely to hear the conversation you explore together so beautifully! You guys really inspire me in many ways, I’m hoping to travel to Thailand to the Wise Living Yoga Academy early next year, it feels so right. I also am so moved by the relationship you’ve built, very excited to hear the next podcast about relationships! I thought I’d start at the beginning though 🙂 Just wondering, what would you do if your relationship started to stagnate, if being together starting to feel “wrong” or just not the same? I’m experiencing something similar and pretty desperate to understand and know what to do. I LOVE YOU NATASHA AND LUCA SERIOUSLY MUM AND DAD!!!
What a sweet comment, thank you Summer 🙂 Great to hear that you’re hoping to travel to Thailand and the WLY academy, both are wonderful places! Our relationships podcast episode should hopefully help answer your question about relationships xo
Hi guys! I posted a comment already but I don’t think it worked so here it goes again: thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do, you give so much in terms of time, effort and advise to people asking nothing in return, your conversations and stories are so incredibly inspiring I’ve gained so much from watching your YouTube videos and now your podcasts, I just want to emphasize that your work is appreciated and is helping people. Seriously I look up to you both as individuals and as a beautiful pair. I have made plans to travel to Thailand to the Wise Living Acedemy for the yoga course! I saw your videos on how the eastern culture changed your lives and I’m itching to experience it myself! I will definitely let you know how that goes! 🙂 I love hearing your relationship advice and it resonates so deeply when you mention how you need to work on yourself primarily before you can be a part of a relationship successfully, I myself am dealing with a huge bump in my relationship. It’s so hard to know what to do when you’re very dependent on another person to validate you and make you feel good enough or desirable. I know I have a lot to sort out for myself, and we want our relationship to work and we love each other so much as we’re best friends and have lived together since we were 18. The thought of venturing off alone is so scary and I’m still unsure whether to go separate ways or try to work out our problems together…. anyways I can relate to the issues you’ve experienced for sure!! I just want to say again I literally love you guys as if we were close friends and I am so happy the vegan movement has people like you on our side! Hopefully we cross paths one day!!! Much love, Summer
What a beautiful comment once again Summer, thank you so much for taking the time to write it 🙂 You sound like a wise young woman in touch with her feelings and we’re confident that you will know what’s best for you when you tune into your emotional guidance system. Sending you much love and strength xo
